From 29th October 2026 anyone running a tobacco, vape or nicotine business in Northern Ireland must register with NI TVN Retail Register.

Any person selling tobacco, vape or nicotine products must register their business.

TVN registration is enforced by local councils. TVN Control Officers will carry out regular checks
to ensure TVN businesses comply with legislation.
